Job Summary
Python Developer at Statkraft responsible for designing, developing, testing and deploying Python-based solutions for back-office processes using AKS; collaborate with business to understand needs, refine technical concepts, and deliver high-quality software including coding, debugging, unit testing, and documentation; contribute to expanding software development practices within Statkraft and support the Spain business domain with a focus on back-office systems, time-series and financial data, and AI-assisted development; requires several years of software development experience, strong Python skills, FastAPI knowledge, and bilingual English/Spanish communication. The role offers hybrid work in Madrid as part of Statkraft's Global Software Development team with opportunities across renewable energy domains.
Required Qualifications
- Several years of software development experience
- Strong experience with Python
- Knowledge of the Fast API framework
- Experience with AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service)
- PostgreSQL, Oracle and knowledge of AKS would be beneficial
- Experience with working with financial & time series data and systems supporting business or industrial processes
- Solid English and Spanish language skill
