Job Summary
Python Developer for Security Operations Automation focused on building automation solutions to improve efficiency in detecting and mitigating cyber threats. Will develop proof-of-concept projects, collaborate with stakeholders involved in phishing detection and brand abuse, and leverage Python and automation technologies to enable security teams to work smarter and faster. Requires 2–3 years Python development, 1–2 years SQL for data analysis, and 1–2 years in cybersecurity/security operations, along with API usage and experience with automation frameworks.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- 2–3 years of hands-on Python development experience
- 1–2 years of experience with SQL for data analysis and reporting
- 1–2 years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or security operations environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience working with APIs and automation frameworks
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Fluent English (written and verbal)
