Job Summary
Design, develop, and maintain reliable software for a U.S. investment bank's data transformation platform using Python, async/await, Snowflake, PostgreSQL, and DBT. Analyze requirements, set acceptance criteria, and coordinate deadlines with the Technical Leader or Project Manager. Apply best practices to produce high-quality solutions while evaluating tasks and staying current with modern infrastructure concepts like Kubernetes and cloud environments. Participate in learning programs and optionally obtain professional certifications. Work closely with the customer in a dynamic environment with low bureaucracy.
Required Qualifications
- 4-5 years of commercial experience with Python
- Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and concurrency (async/await)
- Experience with Snowflake and PostgreSQL
- Experience with Camunda or other BPMN/workflow orchestration tools
- Understanding of cloud environments and modern infrastructure concepts (Azure, HashiCorp stack)
- Experience with multi-tenant applications and tenant isolation concepts
- Good understanding of Kubernetes (pods, autoscaling, resource management)
- Experience writing unit and end-to-end tests
- Upper-Intermediate English or higher
Desired Qualifications
- Willingness to learn and work with Java; previous Java experience will be a strong advantage
- Experience with DBT
