Job Summary
Develop, test, and deploy Python applications focusing on high performance, scalability, and maintainability while designing robust RESTful APIs and microservices. Optimize existing systems for reliability and identify areas for improvement through clean, efficient code adhering to best practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions, conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and resolve production issues to ensure high availability. Document software designs, requirements, and operational procedures while utilizing frameworks like Django, Flask, or FastAPI with databases such as PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in Python
- Experience with frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI
- Strong experience with RESTful API design and microservice architecture
- Hands-on experience with relational and NoSQL databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Redis
- Proficiency in version control systems like Git and collaborative workflows
- Experience with Docker and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and deployment strategies
- Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns
- Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Proven ability to lead and work effectively in a team environment
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
Desired Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) or data analysis libraries (NumPy, Pandas)
- Familiarity with asynchronous programming in Python
