Job Summary
Develop backend services and APIs using Python (Django, FastAPI), GraphQL, and build scalable data pipelines for the AML Transaction Monitoring platform. Design and deliver secure, scalable services and ETL processes with Databricks on the cloud; work end-to-end using modern Python APIs, GraphQL for data access, and Databricks for analytics. Collaborate across teams in a hybrid environment and contribute to compliance-focused systems that operate within regulatory parameters. Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in CS or related field and 3-9 years of Python development experience; experience with GraphQL, AWS cloud, PostgreSQL, and PySpark/Databricks is a strong plus; additional domain knowledge in finance/compliance is beneficial.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
- 3-9 years of Python development experience
- Proficiency in GraphQL and building GraphQL APIs
- Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS
- Experience with PostgreSQL (AWS RDS)
- Knowledge of PySpark and Databricks a plus
- Knowledge in ETL, Agile, Financial Domain a plus
- Certifications in Databricks, Cloud environment (nice to have)
