Job Summary
This role is for a Python Developer experienced in AWS technologies, specifically looking for candidates with a strong background in cloud infrastructure and data-intensive workloads. The position is onsite in Midtown, Manhattan, focusing on backend development, system architecture, and automation in a finance-related industry.
Required Qualifications
- More than five years of experience as a Cloud Engineer, Backend Engineer, or related role
- Strong experience in Linux environments, system administration, and shell scripting
Desired Qualifications
- AWS cloud infrastructure expertise (certification a plus)
- Strong experience with data-intensive workloads and libraries (Pandas, PyArrow, Polars)
- Solid understanding of event-driven architecture, message queues, and service orchestration patterns
- Proficiency in IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) and CI/CD pipelines
- Advanced Python proficiency (3.10+), including modern features and async programming
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams
