Job Summary
Python and Data Analytics Developer responsible for understanding existing data structures, using Python to manipulate and cleanse data, reading data from REST APIs to create data pipelines and ingest into SQL Server, and creating, reporting, and maintaining Power BI dashboards. Analyzing data based on use cases to drive business value such as predictive and proactive service management. Start in June 2026 for an 11-month limited contract with potential extension, based in Lund, Sweden. Requires extensive Python experience, data engineering, REST API integration, data warehousing concepts, SQL Server proficiency, and hands-on work with Pandas, NumPy, SQLAlchemy, Matplotlib, Flask, JWT/SAML/OAuth/Sso-related authentication, and Azure AD Entra ID. Preferred skills include Power BI reports/dashboards, Agile/Scrum experience, and IaC knowledge.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in Python, data engineering, analytics, and web development
- Built data pipelines using Python, REST APIs, and Shell scripting
- Automated data processing and reporting using Python
- Strong experience with JSON parsing and data transformation
- Expertise in enterprise data modeling and data warehousing concepts
- Proficient in SQL Server with complex queries and tuning
- Hands-on with Pandas, NumPy, SQLAlchemy, and Matplotlib
- Developed RESTful APIs and backend services using Flask
- Integrated Flask applications with SQL Server and PostgreSQL
- Implemented SSO in Python applications
- Experience with OAuth 2.0, OIDC, and SAML
- Configured Azure AD / Entra ID authentication
- Implemented JWT-based authentication and RBAC
