Job Summary
Advise clients on intricate tax rules, business decision implications, and tax planning. Consult with the government on tax policy and assist multinational companies in navigating offshore tax regulations. Implement technology-enabled tax reporting solutions and explore specialized areas such as GST or transfer pricing. Ensure clients proactively meet their tax obligations and maintain compliance while utilizing emerging AI tools. Start in February 2027 for New Zealand or Australian citizens and permanent residents.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Commerce or Business, majoring in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Taxation, Information Systems or Computer Science
- Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or Bachelor of Laws conjoint
- Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Economics
- Bachelor of Engineering
- Be in your final year of study or have recently graduated
- Strong academic performance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage clearly with clients and colleagues
- Independent thinking and the confidence to take ownership of your work
- A curious, motivated attitude and willingness to learn
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
- A collaborative approach and the ability to build strong relationships
- Comfort working with technology and emerging AI enabled ways of working
