Job Summary
Analytical Solar and Energy Storage Remote Operator & Data Analyst responsible for monitoring real-time data from PV and energy storage sites, identifying anomalies and performance deviations, and ensuring optimal efficiency and reliability. Tasks include analyzing system performance metrics, diagnosing issues, collaborating with technical teams to propose corrective actions, remotely diagnosing and resetting equipment, and utilizing data visualization tools (Python, SQL, Excel, Power BI/Tableau) to present insights to management and engineering teams. Supports predictive analytics for performance forecasting and preventative maintenance, maintains data integrity, investigates historical trends to optimize configurations, and communicates findings to drive operational improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years' experience with machine learning applications for predictive maintenance in PV and BESS systems
- Electrical engineering degree or electrical license with two years + of solar operations and maintenance experience
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as Python, SQL, Excel, and visualization platforms (Power BI, Tableau)
- Familiarity with SCADA systems, monitoring platforms, and renewable energy asset management software
