Job Summary
Manage and draft key client pitches and RFP responses while developing industry-specific collateral and improving best practices across the firm. Project manage high-value proposals in specific industries, oversee the RFP response library and tools, and communicate with leadership and attorneys to ensure strategic execution. Review win/loss statistics to drive adjustments and increase success rates, serving as the primary contact for General Counsel, Conflicts, and Revenue Management. Assess the competitive environment, mentor team members, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency. Utilize generative AI tools for drafting and organizing content while maintaining accountability for all outputs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of seven years' experience with significant responsibilities associated with proposal writing and business development support, or a related field
- Experience at a law firm or professional services firm is strongly preferred
- High level of proficiency using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Ability to write effective prompts that clearly define objectives, provide relevant context, and guide AI tools to produce useful, accurate, and appropriate results; able to refine prompts to improve output quality, productivity, and efficiency
- Models responsible AI use for team members, reinforcing expectations related to confidentiality, data privacy, and appropriate human oversight
- Demonstrates working knowledge of governance considerations, including ethical use and risk awareness, and adapts to emerging AI and related technologies
