Job Summary
Master-level or higher scientist with Materials Science background to support Eurofins’ Purity Survey in Shanghai. Responsibilities include establishing and improving Clean Room ICPMS/MS and IC test procedures for semiconductor materials; conducting ICPMS/MS and IC analyses; developing methods for materials received in the lab; training new staff; maintaining timely turnaround and handling urgent jobs (including weekends); maintaining lab cleanliness and adherence to Quality Management System; conducting peer review of ICPMS/MS and IC data; fostering teamwork within the Purity Survey group; maintaining instrument maintenance and spare parts; supporting the Purity Survey Manager and Quality Management Representative with quality records and audits; and performing other duties as assigned. Required is a Master or above degree (Materials Science preferred), knowledge of Mass Spectroscopy Instruments, attention to detail, multitasking ability, strong interpersonal skills, integrity and reliability, and willingness to work overtime, shifts, and weekends. Semiconductor-lab experience and familiarity with detecting trace impurities in relevant materials are highly regarded.
Required Qualifications
- Master or above degree in any major; Materials Science is preferred
- Prior Knowledge of Mass Spectroscopy Instruments
- Be detail-oriented and careful
- Be a multi-tasker and be self-motivated
- Have good interpersonal communication skills
- Integrity, hard-working, can work under pressure, can accept Overtime, Shift and Weekend/Holiday work arrangements
- Experience in semiconductor testing laboratory is preferred, and experience in detecting trace metal and non-metal impurities in materials such as wet chemicals, photoresists, precursors, high purity gases, silicon and silicon carbide wafers, AMC, etc. is valued
