Job Summary
Teach up to two courses per term in synchronous seminars for Associates, Bachelors, and Masters degree programs while maintaining virtual office hours and managing student correspondence. Lead message board discussions, partner with academic advisors on student concerns, and refer ADA accommodation needs to Student Accessibility Services. Submit timely grade reports, deliver mid-term and final grades per the academic calendar, and enforce student conduct policies. Attend university and departmental meetings as requested and remain current on relevant technology trends. Perform additional duties as assigned by the School.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis, Education, or related field
- 18 graduate credit hours in Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis, Education, or related field
- Doctoral degree (preferred)
- BCBA or BCBA-D Certification
- 1-3 years' related practical/professional experience and/or training
- Online, higher education teaching experience (preferred)
- Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office suite software, such as MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint
- Demonstrated proficiency with Google applications such as Gmail, Chat and Meet
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to balance competing demands for time
- Ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines
- Effective analytical skills with the ability to assess situations, resolve issues or make recommendations as appropriate
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to adapt communication style and method to suit different audiences
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with a professional demeanor with people at all levels within the organization
- Candidates must be based in and legally authorized to work in the United States
- Must be available for weekend shifts
