Job Summary
Develop and execute the company's procurement strategy to support electrical construction operations, overseeing strategic sourcing, vendor management, and inventory optimization. Partner with Operations, Estimating, and Project Management to manage long-lead equipment, resolve material shortages, and negotiate national purchasing agreements. Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs, implement ERP and MRP systems, and drive digital transformation across purchasing workflows. Establish governance frameworks, maintain supplier scorecards, and manage annual budgets to ensure on-time material delivery and project profitability.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 10+ years of procurement or supply chain experience with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Experience within electrical contracting, mechanical contracting, commercial construction, industrial construction, or EPC organizations
- Demonstrated success negotiating strategic supplier agreements and managing enterprise purchasing operations
- Strong understanding of electrical construction materials, procurement processes, and supply chain management

Desired Qualifications
- MBA or advanced business degree
- Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM), Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM), or equivalent certification
- Experience with MRP systems
- Experience with construction procurement platforms such as SubBase, or similar solutions
- Experience leading procurement transformation and digital modernization initiatives
