Job Summary
Engineer leading PSD Cost Engineering and Automation initiatives for Operational Stability with Supplier Partners. Applies data-driven analysis (KPIs like throughput, cycle time, OEE, FPY/yield, scrap/rework, defect PPM) to identify loss drivers, validate stable processes (SPC, Cp/Cpk), and drive cost, manufacturability, and quality improvements across multiple supplier projects. Collaborates with supplier teams to develop project strategies, schedules, and KPI visualization; leverages TPS/Toyota Business Practices to drive continuous improvements and support outsourced supply base with data-driven performance insights.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Engineering or a similar Technical field from Automotive Manufacturing
- Experience in process automation and/or implementing automation in manufacturing settings
- Experience with data analysis and ability to evaluate trends and communicate decision-quality insights
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables, VLOOKUP)
- Willing to travel domestically up to 50% during peak periods
- Hybrid work schedule with onsite Tue/Wed/Thu and remote Mon/Fri
