Job Summary
As a Purchasing Supervisor for our Crowne Plaza hotel, you will oversee procurement activities to ensure cost-effective purchasing and maintain strong supplier relationships to support hotel operations. Key duties include processing invoices in SAP and Purchase Plus, managing monthly inventory uploads, maintaining inventory accuracy for F&B and related storages, sourcing and negotiating with suppliers to secure best quality and price, monitoring market conditions and price fluctuations, coordinating with Hygiene Officers on compliance, generating weekly purchase-order reports, and training teams on procurement policies and supplier communication. Requires strong analytical, negotiation, and cross-department collaboration skills, plus the ability to work on Saturdays and understand hotel procurement processes and local regulations.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years of accounting or purchasing experience
- Health Certificate and ABC card required
- Must be able to work on Guam without restrictions
- Not eligible for work visa processing
- Proficiency in SAP system, Purchase Plus system, or similar
- Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Detail-oriented, cost-conscious, and able to work under pressure
