Purchasing Specialist

Place orders for forms, clerical supplies, medical supplies, office equipment, and medical equipment to vendors via call, fax, or email. Authorize, unpack, and verify received supplies against order and packing slips. Inventory and restock shelves during periodic reviews, ensuring orders are distributed to correct areas. Communicate with vendors regarding service problems and review new or alternate supplies. Inform database entry staff of new products with correct pricing and reference numbers. Order paper supplies for housekeeping and provide backup for sterile processing and decontamination areas. Assist with manpower requests, including physically restraining patients when required for safety. This role is based at Landmark Surgery Center in Woodbury, MN, with 8-hour shifts Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
