Job Summary
As a Purchasing Specialist, you’ll source, evaluate, and select suppliers for electronic and technical components, support NPI with early supplier onboarding, review BOMs/drawings, lead RFQs, negotiate pricing/lead times, procure materials for prototypes and early production, monitor supplier performance, manage POs, and collaborate with Planning on forecasts and inventory risk during product launches. You’ll contribute to continuous procurement process improvements, support engineering changes and lifecycle planning, and work with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery and best value. Preferred experience includes 3–5 years in manufacturing purchasing, ERP/MRP proficiency, and strong negotiation/analytical skills. Hybrid remote work is available at the Victoria, BC site.
Required Qualifications
- Completed post-secondary education in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field
