Job Summary
Procurement-focused role responsible for managing complex IT project procurement functions, serving as the primary liaison with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of equipment and services to client offices nationwide. Executes purchase orders, ensures compliance with terms, resolves supplier issues affecting schedules, supports annual procurement planning, conducts cost/benefit analyses and evaluations of products, and assists with contract modifications. Requires strong experience in government/DoD purchasing systems and the ability to obtain and maintain a Federal Public Trust. Emphasizes vendor management, strategic sourcing, and cross-functional collaboration with division leadership to optimize procurement activities and project outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- AA/AS in related field
- Five years of related experience
- Experience in using Government-approved third-party purchasing systems
- Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD PUBLIC TRUST; candidates with an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred
