Job Summary
Manage end-to-end procurement processes using ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle EBS, including requisitioning, purchase order creation, and contract management. Source suppliers through effective strategies, evaluate vendor proposals, and negotiate pricing to secure the best value. Collaborate with manufacturing and logistics teams to forecast needs using MRP tools and ensure inventory control aligns with production schedules. Maintain strong supplier relationships by conducting regular evaluations, managing vendor performance, and resolving quality or delivery issues. Oversee procurement documentation, monitor metrics like cost savings and lead times, and coordinate inbound shipments to optimize supply chain efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle EBS
- Strong knowledge of procurement management principles including sourcing strategies, contract negotiation, vendor management, and supply chain processes
- Familiarity with inventory management techniques and tools used in manufacturing environments
- Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of securing favorable pricing and contractual terms
- Ability to analyze supply chain data using procurement metrics to drive strategic decisions
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with suppliers, internal teams, and stakeholders across departments
