Job Summary
Purchasing Specialist to verify nomenclature and specifications, process RFQs, issue purchase orders and change notices, gather commodity prices, review supplier contracts and invoices, and collaborate with vendors to ensure on-time delivery and policy conformance; requires strong Excel/Word/Teams proficiency, analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize and resolve issues in a manufacturing-housing environment.
Required Qualifications
- H.S. Diploma or GED
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word, and Teams
- Understanding of supply chain management and inventory management systems
- Able to meet deadlines, work under pressure and be able to follow best practices and all company policies
- Able to multitask when managing accounts
- Able to resolve issues quickly and professionally
- Manufactured housing industry experience desired
- Purchasing or Materials experience desired
