Job Summary
Support Central SCM team with daily procurement tasks, including order creation, tracking, and vendor communication. Assist in sourcing food ingredients and packaging materials while maintaining purchase orders, vendor files, and inventory records through periodic cycle counts. Follow up on delivery schedules, coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams, and resolve discrepancies regarding quantity, quality, or invoicing. Consolidate order data from distribution centers in CA and NJ to conduct demand analysis and align production schedules. Requires occasional travel to meet and negotiate with suppliers.
Required Qualifications
- Associates or Bachelors degree, preferably in business, supply chain or a related field
- Minimum three years professional experience
- Required occasional travel to meet, negotiate and/or entertain supplier relationships
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in procurement, purchasing or supply chain management is a plus
