Job Summary
Purchasing Specialist (Commodity Buyer) responsible for direct commodity parts management, developing and executing commodity strategy, and managing spend and sourcing through RFQs to support value-driven objectives. The role involves benchmarking with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to establish strategies, negotiating with suppliers and engaging the Global Supply Chain Organization, developing and launching new suppliers, identifying sustainable cost-saving opportunities, and delivering results aligned with corporate goals.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree (Economics, Engineering or equivalent field)
- Minimum 2-3 years of Purchasing experience within international production company (preferably automotive)
- English language skills (intermediate)
- Analytical skills (MS Office/SAP)
- High communication / negotiation / collaboration skills
- Time management and prioritization abilities
- Availability for travel abroad
