Job Summary
Develop and implement purchasing strategies aligned with company growth plans while identifying, evaluating, and negotiating with suppliers for coffee beans, milk, syrups, and packaging materials. Monitor supplier performance, manage strategic relationships, and negotiate credit applications to secure high-quality materials at optimal costs. Work closely with operations and culinary teams to align product specifications, maintain optimal stock levels, and ensure uninterrupted service. Conduct pricing research and market analysis to forecast trends and identify cost-saving opportunities. Ensure procurement activities comply with food safety regulations, sustainability goals, and ethical sourcing standards while managing contracts and policies. Maintain accurate records for accounting and an organized storage environment. Requires a Bachelor's degree, 10+ years in procurement with 5+ in F&B, and experience leading purchasing departments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum 10 years of experience in procurement
- At least 5 years specifically within F&B or FMCG industry
- Experience in a managerial role leading a purchasing department
- Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills
- Strong knowledge of local and international suppliers for food-related materials
- Experience with ERP systems and procurement tools
- Strong organizational and strategic planning skills
