Job Summary
Develop and execute global sourcing strategies aligned with demand forecasts while leading supplier selection, contract negotiations, and category management to optimize total cost of ownership. Build strong supplier relationships using KPIs and continuous improvement plans, collaborate with engineering, operations, and finance on specifications and budgets, and mitigate supply chain risks through dual sourcing and contingency planning. Drive cost savings, value engineering, and process improvements while ensuring compliance with ethical standards and regulatory requirements. Leverage data analytics to inform decision-making and improve procurement performance. Mentor team members to foster collaboration and accountability.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills
- Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable strategies
- Experience working with suppliers in a global environment
- Knowledge of procurement systems and tools (e.g., ERP, sourcing platforms)
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
- Commitment to ethical sourcing and compliance practices
