Purchasing Manager - WRMG

Lead the direct materials procurement function for WRMG's aluminum, fiberglass, and boat production networks, ensuring efficient operations through consistent material availability and balanced inventory. Manage a team of purchasing agents while driving supplier performance, process standardization, and continuous improvement efforts. Collaborate cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Sourcing, Engineering, and Logistics to support production schedules, optimize inventory investment, and mitigate supply risks. Utilize the MRP system to manage purchasing requirements and forecast, while measuring key performance indicators including supplier on-time delivery and inventory turns. Escalate and resolve material shortages, delivery issues, and production constraints through cross-functional collaboration. Prepare and present purchasing performance metrics and supply risk assessments. Requires 10 years of experience and up to 15% travel to support supplier visits.
