Job Summary
Oversee every aspect of contracting and purchasing to ensure smooth home production, including managing budgets, finalizing contracts, and maintaining master agreements. Coordinate bids, market-test costs, and update ERP systems to align pricing and labor demands with company goals. Address material shortages, process work order revisions, and facilitate key meetings such as Neighborhood Specification and Final Neighborhood Start. Collaborate with Land, Production, Sales, and Back Office departments to support divisional operations. This role requires strong project management skills, exceptional Excel and communication abilities, and experience in residential construction. Salary ranges from $78,100 to $83,400 annually plus bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Purchasing Manager or construction experience in residential construction
- Project management skills to demonstrate experiences with managing projects effectively
- Exceptional Excel and Word and PowerPoint skills
- Strong communication skills verbally and in writing
- Creative thinking skills that show the ability to generate new ideas and approaches to problem solve
- Adaptability and eagerness to learn and pick up new skills as work environment changes
Desired Qualifications
