Manage materials supply to equal demand, optimize purchasing costs, and develop strategic plans for business development. Recruit, interview, and retain Purchasing Supervisors and Buyers while coaching staff on hiring processes and succession planning. Define and execute Materials strategies aligned with campus goals, preparing timely forecasts and analyzing cost trends to drive value. Monitor supplier performance on cost, delivery, and quality, ensuring all purchase orders meet negotiated terms. Lead team development through training curricula, performance evaluations, and continuous improvement initiatives to support operational metrics and organizational objectives.
