Purchasing Manager

Hiring a Senior Purchasing Manager to ensure materials supply meets demand, optimize overall purchasing cost, and develop purchasing strategies. Responsibilities include recruiting, interviewing and hiring Purchasing Supervisors and Planner/Buyers; coaching Materials staff in interviewing and hiring; developing training curricula; succession planning; evaluating performance; establishing measurable goals; coordinating large teams; and driving cost reductions while maintaining supply alignment with the Master Production Schedule. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree, five years of experience with supervisory duties, and APICS/CPM certifications. The role emphasizes leadership, procurement strategy, supplier management, and cross-functional collaboration to support the campus and business objectives.
