Job Summary
Purchasing Manager responsible for sourcing HVAC parts, equipment, and materials in a cost-effective and timely manner; negotiate contracts and maintain strong supplier/vendor relationships; manage inventory to support operations without overstocking; track orders and address delays with vendors; collaborate with project management and service teams to forecast material needs for upcoming projects; evaluate supplier performance and stay updated on industry trends; ensure compliance with purchasing policies and maintain accurate purchase records using the company’s procurement system; experience with HVAC materials/equipment and proficiency in procurement software; strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of purchasing experience, ideally in HVAC, construction, or mechanical contracting industries
