Job Summary
Lead supply planning, inventory management, and resource management for the regional distribution center or local Sales organization. Drive planning initiatives to improve customer on-time delivery and lead time while ensuring adherence to inventory and supply plans. Own the site supply planning process and provide visibility of supply capacity and local objectives into the Sales and Operations Planning process. Run short-term planning or Sales & Operations Execution processes to ensure seamless alignment between planning and execution. Support the profitable execution of customer orders in coordination with business functions and Supply units. This role contributes to the Electrification Business in Apodaca, Nuevo Leon, requiring an on-site work model.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering, Business Administration or Electronics
- 9+ years of experience in purchasing or procurement execution within a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Experience supporting Make-to-Order (MTO) operations
- Previous experience in the electrical, electronics, automation, or industrial manufacturing sectors
- Familiarity with procurement processes, purchase order management, and supplier follow-up
- Experience working with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Power BI & Power Point
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate planning data, identify risks, and implement timely corrective actions
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across Manufacturing, Engineering, Customer Service, Procurement, and Supply Chain teams
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis & reporting
- Advanced English Level
Desired Qualifications
- Experience supporting Make-to-Order (MTO) operations is strongly preferred
- Previous experience in the electrical, electronics, automation, or industrial manufacturing sectors is highly desirable
