Job Summary
Purchasing Manager leads raw material procurement for the plant, coordinating with Global Procurement to secure reliable supply and maximize cost savings. Oversees the procurement team, designs strategic supply plans, standardizes processes, drives supplier management and risk mitigation, and collaborates with stakeholders to improve supply reliability and cost-effectiveness. Requires extensive experience in medical devices, MRO procurement, contract negotiations, and MRP systems; strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills. Education includes Master’s degree in Supply Chain or related field and professional CPIM/CSCP/CPSM/CPSD certifications; English proficiency expected.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field
- Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Planning, Sourcing, Logistics, or International Business
- Certifications: CPIM, CSCP, CPSM, or CPSD
- Minimum 5 years raw material and/or MRO procurement management experience in medical device sector
- At least 10 years leading Procurement, Purchasing and/or Planning teams
- Strong negotiation, supplier management, and MRP skills
- Fluent English
- Contract management and procurement formulation
- Cost reduction projects and initiatives
- Transportation, import/export operations, and customs clearance
