Job Summary
Purchasing Logistics Coordinator located in Boise, ID, reporting to Warehouse Manager. Responsible for coordinating transportation needs with expediting and client logistics teams, ensuring delivery locations align with construction schedules, tracking and inventorying transportation challenges, and liaising with the client logistics team to close out issues. Requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least five years in logistics/supply chain; strong proficiency with Windows/Microsoft Office 365 and related logistics tools; in-office role near Boise, Idaho.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Bachelor's degree in a construction related profession, business administration, or equivalent degree and/or equivalent work experience required
- A minimum of five (5) years working in Logistics or Supply Chain Services preferred
- Experience in industrial and/or hi-tech semiconductor projects preferred
- Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point and Teams)
- Working knowledge of Smartsheet, Bluebeam, SiteSense, OpenDock and TeamUp Calendar preferred
- Strong communication skills (written and oral)
- Ability to work well in a large professional setting and be a team player
- Ability to plan and organize work efficiently
- Ability to read/write/speak English and interpret construction-related documentation
- Ability to climb stairs, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform other physical requirements as described in the role
