Purchasing & Inventory Specialist

Develop strategic sourcing strategies for ingredients aligned with cost, quality, and supply continuity goals to attain ingredients required for business production needs. Strong negotiation skills for contracts and pricing, especially for commodities and specialty ingredients affected by seasonality or global markets. Manage all raw material purchasing functions, including cutting PO, verification of orders, tracking shipments and signing invoices. Coordinate raw material requirements with customer’s buying team for their products. Source and purchase supplies from different countries. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Production, Replenishment, QA) to ensure timely procurement for new product launches. Complete vendor scorecards annually for QA audits or as required. Source new raw material vendors and negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery. Ensure vendor compliance with SQF regulations and maintain Approved Vendor List. Work with our Scheduler for production and prepare daily and weekly production reports for required ingredients. Oversee export and import processes for spice goods. Coordinate pickups with Logistics Team and external logistics companies.
