Job Summary
Coordinate purchasing activities to ensure optimal stock levels for inventory needs; monitor supplier performance and delivery timelines, resolving procurement issues; analyze inventory usage and adjust purchase orders to minimize excess stock and shortages; implement and monitor inventory control protocols to ensure compliance and efficiency; develop reports on purchasing trends, inventory performance, and cost management; support negotiations with suppliers for better pricing and terms; collaborate with cross-functional teams to align purchasing with production schedules; identify opportunities to reduce procurement and inventory costs; assist in implementing inventory management system improvements; participate in inventory audits and compliance reviews.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in procurement and inventory management
- Knowledge of procurement strategies and inventory control systems
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in inventory and procurement software, as well as data analysis tools
