Purchasing Intern (Year-Round)

Create purchase orders, spot buy orders, and review overstock and expedite reports. Send Request for Quotation (RFQ) and requirements to suppliers, then work with project buyers to secure materials for design and project validation builds. Attend supplier meetings, support minute notes, and pull data to identify issues requiring reviewer attention. Assist in transition planning for commodities and rescheduling. Work year-round on a part-time basis during the school year, transitioning to full-time in the summer.
