Purchasing Expeditor

The Purchasing Expeditor tracks and accelerates the flow of purchased materials to support production and operational needs, ensuring timely delivery by monitoring purchase orders, following up with suppliers on late or urgent orders, and resolving shortages, quality, or shipment discrepancies. Works closely with purchasing, inventory, and production teams to maintain accurate order status, updates ERP/MRP systems, and communicates supplier performance. Requires strong communication and organizational skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), and experience with ERP/MRP systems; typically 1–3 years in purchasing, supply chain, or logistics in a manufacturing environment. This is an on-site, full-time role located in Owego, NY.
