Job Summary
Manage cost and end-to-end RFQs for OSAT business, including raw materials, capex items, consumables, and jigs. Understand technical specifications to communicate equipment needs to suppliers and evaluate vendors based on cost, quality, delivery, and technical parameters. Negotiate terms and conditions regarding price, quantity, schedule, and quality while reviewing legal and contractual responsibilities. Monitor supplier deliveries to mitigate supply chain risks, drive supplier qualification, and facilitate communication among stakeholders. Minimum 5 years of domain expertise in strategic sourcing of electronics components or OSAT suppliers required. Bachelor's degree in SCM, business, engineering, or related field with MBA preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in SCM, business, engineering or related field
- Minimum 5 yrs of domain expertise in strategic sourcing of electronics components or equivalent commodities
- Expertise in managing electronics components (Active/Passive) or OSAT suppliers
- Hands on experience in managing multiple RFQ's
- Negotiation skills to finalize commercial terms & conditions
- Experience in Supplier selection and business awards
- Good understanding of the market conditions and component trends
- Good communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to make decisions with minimal guidance
- Willing to work in ambiguous environment to enable customer success
