Job Summary
Purchasing Coordinator responsible for creating and managing POs for raw materials and finished goods, coordinating domestic and international vendors, inbound logistics including ocean/air/ground shipments, and monitoring supplier pricing and inventory within ERP systems. Strong emphasis on cross-functional collaboration with Operations, Production, Finance, and Sales, plus data analysis and continuous improvement of procurement and inventory processes.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in supply chain, purchasing, procurement, or logistics within a manufacturing or distribution environment
- Experience creating and managing purchase orders and working with domestic and/or international suppliers
- Experience coordinating inbound shipments with freight forwarders, carriers, or 3PL providers (import/export exposure preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis)
- Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar (purchasing, procurement, or inventory modules)
