Job Summary
The Purchasing Buyer is responsible for sourcing materials, managing supplier relationships, issuing purchase orders, and ensuring the timely delivery of goods to support production needs. This role combines both strategic purchasing responsibilities and day-to-day purchasing activities. Key responsibilities include sourcing raw materials and packaging supplies, negotiating pricing and terms with vendors, monitoring inventory levels, tracking incoming shipments, and coordinating with internal departments to ensure materials are available to meet production schedules.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year of recent experience as a purchasing buyer in a manufacturing environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
