Job Summary
Order raw and sub materials, manage shipping, storage, and arrival timelines, and negotiate prices with vendors. Confer with establishment representatives to rectify damages, shortages, and nonconformance issues. Determine shipping methods and routes, examine shipment contents against manifests and invoices, and prepare work orders, bills of lading, and international documents. Requisition stocks, manage inventories, and oversee outsourced warehouse deliveries. Record shipment data for reporting and accounting, participate in monthly closing activities including physical inventory checks, and communicate effectively in Korean and English for US and foreign vendor interactions. Requires at least one year of experience, undergraduate degree preferred, and familiarity with ERP/SAP. Domestic and international travel up to 10% of time.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 Years of experience in related field
- Regular and reliable attendance
- Domestic/international travel up to 10% of time
- Minimal lifting up to 25 lbs
- Position requires sitting at a desk working on a computer for at least 2/3 of time
- Intermediate Communication
- Basic knowledge of economics and accounting Mathematics
- Complex problem solving & Critical thinking
- Judgment and decision making
- Management of Financial resources
- Time management
- Computer and MS Office skills
- Excel skills (Pivot table, V-Lookup,..)
- Must be able to negotiate, report and purchase from US and foreign vendors
- Effectively communicate both written and verbal language skills in Korean and English
Desired Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in business or related field preferred but not required
- Experience with ERP/SAP is preferred
- Chemical / Raw Material Purchasing Background
