Job Summary
Purchasing Analyst responsible for transactional procurement, purchase agreements, supplier coordination, and ERP data integrity to support supply continuity and cost objectives. Manages supplier communications, tracks orders, resolves discrepancies, and provides reporting on delivery performance and variances. Collaborates with Planners, Logistics, and Operations to ensure materials arrive on time and in full; supports onboarding and data accuracy; identifies process gaps and supports continuous improvement. Role is office-based with rare visits to DC/plant as needed; strong Excel and ERP skills, attention to detail, and effective cross-functional communication are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, or related field (preferred) plus 1–4 or more years’ experience in procurement, supply chain, or a related function in a manufacturing environment
- Strong Excel and ERP system skills; comfort with data analysis and reporting (dashboards, v-lookups)
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work with suppliers and internal teams
- Problem-solving mindset for standardized and non-standard procurement issues
- Willingness to learn and contribute to efficiency improvements
Desired Qualifications
