Purchasing Agent

Purchasing Agent responsible for overseeing purchasing activities for construction materials, tracking vendor stock, establishing blanket subcontracts, assisting Project Managers with purchase orders, invoices, and material forecasting, supporting the estimating team with material lists, developing cost coding standards, maintaining submittal databases, coordinating material deliveries and returns, evaluating vendor relationships, and ensuring specification conformity. The role requires experience in procurement for construction, strong negotiation and organizational skills, MWBE goals tracking, and a customer-focused approach in a typical office setting with no travel.
