Purchasing Agent, Los Angeles

As a Purchasing Agent in Los Angeles, you will drive the PO/VPO process, manage budgets and approvals, and provide design input from a cost and supply-chain perspective. You’ll lead trade partner performance reviews, attend home and prototype walks to understand field adjustments, manage complex blueprint changes, and ensure timely PO releases aligned with construction schedules. You’ll enter budgets into Homebound’s platform, contribute to scopes of work and supplier/trade contract documentation, and leverage ProjTech workflows to drive efficiency. Strong numerical skills, experience in purchasing or related roles within custom or production homebuilding, and fluency with tools like PlanSwift/On-Screen Takeoffs, Excel, and Google Sheets are essential. A degree in Construction Management, Building Sciences, or a related field is preferred, along with knowledge of local building codes and MEP systems integration.
