Job Summary
Manage plant operations by purchasing maintenance parts, raw materials, tools, and equipment while maintaining accurate inventory levels. Obtain pricing, quotes, and delivery information to ensure competitive costs and timely supply. Process purchase orders and vendor invoices using AS400, conduct routine inventory counts, and coordinate annual physical inventory. Work closely with Maintenance, Production, and Corporate teams in Macon, Georgia, occasionally traveling for training and special projects. Requires two to five years of purchasing experience with manufacturing background. Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional overtime, weekend work, and travel.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Two (2) to five (5) years of purchasing and inventory control
- Location: Jackson, MS
- Monday-Friday schedule
- 7:00 AM-4:00 PM schedule
- Occasional overtime
- Weekend work
- Travel to the Macon corporate location
