Job Summary
Manage vendor line items, maintain clear communication with suppliers and the Sales team, and negotiate pricing, inventory availability, and substitute products. Resolve supplier performance issues impacting costs and customer service while partnering with Sales to gain insight into customer needs. Utilize existing tools to analyze inventory positions, trends, and in-stock service level targets, driving improvements in KPIs for out-of-stock items and inventory turns.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience
- 2 - 3 years of buying and inventory/supply chain experience required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- A collaborative approach and the ability to build effective relationships
