Purchasing Agent

Prepare and issue purchase orders while soliciting supplier quotations and evaluating pricing to support construction activities. Coordinate material purchases with project schedules, track order status and delivery dates, and resolve procurement discrepancies. Maintain vendor relationships, communicate with suppliers, and coordinate deliveries to project sites. Verify invoice accuracy against purchase orders, maintain purchasing documentation, and assist with contract administration. Support inventory management and participate in supplier performance evaluations. Requires associate's degree or equivalent experience with minimum three years in purchasing for construction or industrial operations.
