Job Summary
The Purchasing Agent is responsible for procurement of material requisitions in a prompt, cost-effective manner and plays a key role in a growing purchasing department. Candidates should possess strong communication skills, intermediate PC skills, and the ability to multi-task.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- At least 3 years of purchasing experience required
- Requires an active and valid Texas driver’s license
Desired Qualifications
- Purchasing certification or technical training
- Marine purchasing experience
