Job Summary
Manage the complete procurement process from RFQ through purchase order closure for aircraft parts, consumables, and general materials. Source supplies, evaluate quotations based on price and lead time, and negotiate pricing and delivery schedules. Maintain strong relationships with approved suppliers, resolve warranty claims, and expedite critical AOG orders to minimize aircraft downtime. Support stock replenishment across all Avmax divisions, including international operations, and ensure accurate delivery updates to internal stakeholders. Maintain purchasing information in Quantum ERP while adhering to company procedures and QA requirements. Identify cost-saving opportunities and support process improvements to increase supplier performance.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- 2–4 years of purchasing or procurement experience
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
- Excel
- legally eligible to work in Canada
Desired Qualifications
- post-secondary education in Supply Chain, Business, Aviation or related field
- Experience with ERP systems
