Purchaser 2, Direct Materials

Coordinate, plan, and execute purchases of direct materials to ensure goods arrive on time, at the right specification, and at competitive prices. Lead sourcing and qualifying of suppliers for materials, spare parts, and tooling, while organizing tenders for construction and services. Negotiate pricing, discounts, and contractual terms with suppliers to drive cost savings and manage key supplier performance. Maintain material master data and procurement status in the ERP system, generate reports, and ensure customs compliance for all transactions. Monitor OTD supplier performance, analyze backlog and forecast demand to optimize inventory levels, and define non-value-added steps to improve working processes.
