Job Summary
Develop and implement comprehensive procurement policies and strategies; forecast requirements with department heads; build supplier relationships; manage purchasing systems, approvals, and contracts; coordinate across departments to resolve discrepancies; negotiate pricing and terms; source and evaluate new suppliers to improve quality, sustainability, and cost efficiency; monitor budgets, implement cost-control initiatives, oversee inventory, mitigate supplier risks, maintain documentation, and prepare executive procurement reports; deliver results under pressure and mentor procurement teams as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Proven track record in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management with demonstrated ability to deliver results under pressure
- Proficiency with procurement and inventory management systems
- Advanced negotiation skills with the ability to achieve favorable terms and conditions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with keen attention to detail
- Proficiency in data analysis and financial acumen for budget management and cost optimization
- Knowledge of procurement policies, compliance requirements, and regulatory standards
- Certification in procurement, supply chain management, or related field
